This is probably a stupid question if you know anything about electricity (which I dont) - Is it possible to wire mutiple lamps to a single PC balast? I have a 55w electronic balst and was hoping to wire a series of smaller lamps, say 3 or 4 13W lamps up to it for my nano reef. Is this possible or am i in for a big electrical explosion?

Its a "Schuber Wright" solid state rapid start ballast.
model number TSS-155P
It does say "for use with one FT55W or FT50W lamp"
So i guess that means only one. Is there a different type of ballast that i could wire a series of small lamps to? the tank is only about 12 inches across the top so I need to use small bulbs but its deep so I need a lot of them.
I appreciate any advice you have

Hey Fry,
I was planning on using 13W CF's as they are about the only thing that will fit in my hood.
I guess optimally I would need 4 or 5 of them
