REDSEA MAX 250D Input

I am contemplating breaking down my tank very soon to move to something else.

RedSeaMax 250D owners, can you please chime in about your tank. I am seriously considering going this route because the system is so clean.

Anything would help:

Likes, dislikes, mods, what you are stocking, etc.

i've got the 130 and i absolutely love it. the minute i get my new place in the spring of next year im going right out to buy the 250. Sure its over priced compared to parting the same sized tank together but its worth it. Friend of my has the 250 already and i completely dispise him for it. it's amazing....

friend of mine has it and he loves it. as far as pros and cons - here are the cons : a) skimmer, b) fans, c) filtration and pros - a) small/compact, b) 3 side view, c) depth

Even with the upgraded skimmer it's still bad?! What mods have been made I didn't find any.

nah the stock skimmer isnt THAT bad but if u throw in EX. tunze or similar your set.

we setup one for my client. Its actually a pretty good all in one. I was very impressed with it. The only thing i hated was it is "PLUG AND PLAY" It was more like "PAIN AND SWEAT". You still have to assemble the thing and route the cords and what not. After all the work, i guess you can say its plug and play lol. Out of a scale from 1-10 i say its an 8

lol yeah getting the cables to fit in the grooves right and everything is a bit of a pain lol took me awhile to get it right haha

hmmm that's interesting. No problem it should be like building a computer. Time to start saving my pennies... lol
