Brain and weird thing on it...

My brain coral has this weird purpleish polyp sitting on it and I was wondering about it.. how do brian corals divide/reproduce? I tried to blow it off, like it was some deitrus that settled on it- but it is caught in the brains feelers and is now right back where it was. It doesnt' look like it was anything in my tank that was caught- looks similar to a purple mushroom, but I know it isn't. Any ideas? if not I will try posting pics later...

hmmm..a little late now- will post in the morning. brain still looked healthy (don't worry romain) just had that weird polyp on it. got a couple of shots I will post.
