you are looking for in sump. external or HOB.

ASMs are in-sump only AFAIK.

g3, you can't overskim. If you have the space underneath go for it. I wish I had purchased the asm g3 instead of the g2 but it wouldn't fit under my cabinet. For approx. $20 or so more I could have purchased the g3.

It's worth the price differential.

I agree, I went with a G3 on my 65g :icon16:. Just waiting for it to break in now.

Alot of skimmers are overrated. I went with the G3 because it was the largest ASM that would fit in my sump. I have alot of fish, so I figured some overskimming was in order.

how much clearance do i need for removing the collection cup? i dont have much room in my stand. my stand is 27 inches on the inside.
