Hey Just got a new camera and there is alot of new settings that my old HP does. I'm interested as to what yours are.

DEEP I'm really interested in yours cause I got the Nikon too except I got the 4600.

Out of the tank it takes great shots but I am having trouble with the tank shots.

I put mine on auto :smokin:
For marco shot ,I set i tto the sceen section and pt it on marco sceen ,and of i go, i notice since i have 2 nikon all settings are different ,try auto fist ,and get into marco to try close ups .since i have a low pro tank ,lighting is weird ,some really bright ,some shaded areas ,so auto works for me :knockedou

You might have to try the manual focus setting.
The camera is probably focusing on the glass.

White balance to the light of your tank. Take the top from a kodac film canister (you guys do remember 35mm, right? :P) And put it under the light of the tank ( in the tank is even better.) Set your white ballance to the grey of the lid. Most of your colors will come out a lot better.

If you don't have any film cans lying around, you can go to b&h and get a plastic 18% grey card. They're around $15. I've also used powerheads and it's turned out okay.
