As far as I am concerned the reefkeeper is just an glorified timer. Save your cash. As far as computers and controllers are concerned I would go with the Aquatronica. Full featured and constantly upgradeable. The aquatronica pretty much can monitor everything from lights to dosing to calcium levels all the way to comtolling ozone and topoff The base model can be gotten for like 300 bucks and yiu just upgrade modules from there.

definitely worth it man. Aquatronica is owned and funded by a very large corporation therefore their R&D is virtually limitless. The upgrades they have made in the past year alone is quite incredible. Even though the aquatronica does not at the moment feature its own webserver, it does hook up to your pc or mac for constant firmware upgrades. Its very well built.

Nice thing about one aquatronica controller is that it can independently control several tanks. So far that this has proven quite reliable. The probes are not cheap but you get what you pay for.......

fastuno have a Aqua Controller JR and he is having issues with it.

I looked into the Aquatronica when they first came out, it did sounded promising but they were not very developed 12 months ago.

Depending how much you like to have neat gadgets, spending over a G for a controller on a 26 gallon tank is a bit overkill IMO. I have two AQII and I use them as PH and temp meters, good old intermatic timers are much easier to use and more reliable as timers  and I got tired looking at the same PH graphs after the tank stabilized over time.

i have the AquaController Jr and am happy with it. I started with a Reefkeeper then returned it for the ACJr. I think you get a lot more for your money as it offers a lot more than the Reefkeeper.
