Coral ID

I'm babysitting some corals for ricky until he gets his system up and running. this 1 coral stand out from the group. the coral is purple with orange polyps. can anyone id it, i have never seen a coral like this...

I think it's a Granulosa. Very nice and almost like a PM (PM's are grans just stubby ones and the correct coloration makes them so) It also looks close to the Simplex but the coralites are to close and bunched to be that.

i'm not sure its a granulosa. i have never seen 1 with that polyp coloration, they usually have blue or green polpys. plus the branches look to long and skinny opposed to short and stuby granulosa coral... heres a pic of a granny:

Acropora granulosa... Comes in different colors from light blue to deep purple to red. They grow in waters as shallow as 7' to as deep as 45'. These conditions contribute to color and growth formation. Fast water stubby structure, slow water longer structure, depth determines colors.
