Ive gotten stung, bit, cut, punctured, beat by so many things and still I am here. I think what will kill me are those smokes, the good ol beer and other forms of alcohol, and ofcourse my approx 10 ~ 20 cups of coffee / day.

Yeah, that is some scary stuff.
But it happens mostly in immunocompromised patients and people with comorbidities (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc) and at times when your immune system is not at its best (stress, common cold, flu, recent surgery etc). If you are healthy and have no open breaks in your skin, chances are you won't get it. But still take necessary precautions (ie gloves) when attending to your tank.

A friend of mine in the health field has seen it mainly in AIDS/HIV patients.
Really hard to detect unless you're looking for it and it does not grow on stardard culture medium if a swab is taken in the doctor's office. Needs special medium and incubation times to grow. It is even more difficut to grow on medium than its comrad tuberculosis or TB (mycobacterim tuberculum).

This is not a new bug. People in the health field (especially the Infectious Disease specialists) have known about this one for many, many years...
