I haven't too much time lately to post any pics or videos of my tank ... but now that I have a small chance to breathe ... Here is a small clip of my tank.

It is by no means complete ... I still have frags cluttered on the sand bed ... always trying to make room for more stuff on the rocks.

Sorry for the quality ... unfortunately I do not have the best of cameras to record with (in fact it's just a digital camera I am using) ... so the colors are not 100% by any means. lol.

A big thanks to everyone here on MR that have helped me along the way ... whether it be selling corals or lending a helping hand!

Flipit13 (this guy almost had this tank crush him on a stairwell outside ShaunW's apt. ... Big HUGE thanks and big hug to you my bro!) JRobbins (my old MR neighbor on the Upper West Side ... I am sure he wanted to kill me when we removed the sump from the 90G ... the smell was UNBEARABLE) TomToothDoc (helping me by holding my stuff during my move to Queens and helping with clearing out the old apt.) Lazibonez ... Dom and Justin ... Jim and Russ ... Questionmarc ... Prattreef (one of the most generous people on this site with his tank!) ...

I can't forget my g/f Roslyn (Sakura51707) ... for supporting this crazy addiction (which I gave up for a couple years when I moved into the city ... I really had NO plans of doing this ever again). :)

the list goes on and on and on ... so please don't take offense if I didn't mention you! ...

Anyways ... Just thought I would share.

Enjoy! :) :thrash:

Nah..he can put 10 more...LOL..JK! Beautiful tank and the aquascaping done nicely. I see you have a pair of Bellus, Just got the female, looking for the male.

10 more ... sure why not? :) lol. I guess there are a lot of fish ... Most of the time you don't see them ... really only when you come up to the tank ... they all come out waiting to be fed.

Yes I do have a pair of Bellus's ... I bought them from John (Bigsink) I believe last March or so (who had had them for I think 8 months before I got them) ... It is my favorite fish of the aquarium. I thank him tremendously for these two! They eat right out of my hand. You can literally pet them. :fish:
At first the male was a little bit of a dick towards the female, but now they get along very well ... I have even caught the female doing a little swagger (mating dance) in front of him.

Thank you all for the wonderful posts! :)

The tank is definitely coming along how I would like it ... for once ... lol ... Since the calcium reactor didn't quite make the move so well (i guess they damaged one of the pipes causing it to leak pretty badly) ... I have gone back to dosing by hand ... to be honest with you ... I am noticing more growth this time around as well as a result of that ... who knows ... there are people successful with the reactors and those that are not.

NYCDominicanReef - The CBB I purchased off of an MR member ... I said it was picking on his acans, hence why he was selling it ... I have a few Acan Lords (and an echinata somewhere in there.) in the front of the tank ... he really hasn't shown any interest in them ... ... ... ... ... yet ... Fingers crossed that he continues to ignore them!

John ... I really can't thank you enough for these Bellus Angels ... I am sure you must have been heartbroken to have someone take them away from you ... I feel/felt bad for taking them from you ... They are doing so well ... The male is the king of the tank ... top of the pecking order ... lol ... He pushes everyone out of his way at feeding time ... it's very cute to watch!

Rich - I just got the 2nd vortech on there, 2 weeks ago ... I don't think I need the K-4's on the back of the tank (but don't have the guts to remove them yet :) ) ... the vortechs keep EVERY part of the tank moving ... there are few if any dead spots ... I usually keep them on Reefcrest (80-90%) ... but have been messing around with the short pulse (wave) for the last couple of days. I also designed my aquascape quite differently this time ... to allow flow through as much of the rock work as possible.

Here is one of the tanks I admire the most ... and hope to achieve at some point in my life ... probably later ... when I decide to hire someone to do the work for me ... :biglaugh: ...
I don't know how Randy (Prattreef) does it (well I do ... all the knowledge and expertise he has)... he is one of the reefers I truly admire the most on here ... Anyone that has not seen this tank in person really needs to go to the next swap! There is still a piece from that system I don't have! That beautiful Acropora Humilis (I am pretty sure that's what it was)! :)
We need some updated videos of your tank Randy!

2x Bellus Angelfish (male and female)
1x Naso Tang (Juvenile)
1x Rosefascia Fairy Wrase
1x Orange Flanked Fairy Wrasse
1x Yellow Coris Wrasse
1x Melanarus Wrasse
1x Midas Blenny
1x Copperband Butterflyfish
2x Ocellaris Clownfish (mated and producing offspring)
1x Pink Skunk Clownfish
2x Green Chromis

14 fish in total :)

The Naso Tang I just got from Jon (JRobbins) ... since it wasn't really going to fit into the new sexy 93G Cube he just put in. Thanks Jon!
Inevitably he will have to go ... they grow far too large for MOST of our aquariums, but until then ... he is doing a great job picking at the algae. :)
