Hi All,

I must be a dunce as I can't figure this out. I have the single chamber BRS Carbon Reactor but no matter how I load the carbon when I get the unit up and running the carbon is flying all over the place in the chamber and won't stay secure.

Could someone explain to me in detail how the carbon and 3 sponges are all to be layered and at what point (height) of the chamber?

So starting at the bottom there is the sponge attached to the piece that screws on....then there's 2 other round sponges. How can I get my carbon between the sponges so that it stays secure? Should it be at the top or bottom of the chamber?

Thanks

One sponge is supposed to be pushed into the tapered head or top. Carbon should be sandwiched unlike GFO.
Load the carbon as you have the cannister upside down then push the remaining sponge into the cannister up against the carbon. Your gap should be between the second sponge and the bottom of the cap that has a sponge glued on.
