the new tunze pumps are out, anyone getting one? they look really good for 235 watts 4000GPH with some pressure comming out of it, 10m is kinda crazy, that's like 40ft head pressure? really nice i wonder what's the PSIs on this crazy pump. 500 bucks tho.

jon, weren't you looking the blueline pump before? That pump looks very nice and comparable to the same watts as the QO..

take a look at the gri (gorman rupp) i just replaced my t4 with the 960gpm model it is a little less flow not much but the wattage is cut in half and i dropped my tank temp 3 degrees this pump is also near silent.

I don't think you can use a stream as a return...The new pumps do look good, too bad they don't make smaller submersible ones to replace mags.

PSI = #feet x 2.25(or something close to it)

BTW, 10m = 32.808399 feet
