$170.00 for the fixture is not bad ,i can allso use this

If you goto New World look up at the top shelf next to the register.
You'll see a ATO system w/ a tank for $200.

This gives you an idea of how much they're charging for something that really shouldn't cost that much.

Any idea what pump i would need for this auto top off device?
I looked over at the DIY for ATO, but don't really know how to make it, so i'm just gonna stick with a professional one. Thanks

The pump should have enough head pressure to makeup the distance it has to travel.

Diagram of the float switch set up. Both switches are placed in the same area (ie. display or sump). This set up wont prevent the pump from running dry but will prevent an overflow of the tank.

I used a mini-jet 606 before switching to the osmolator and that seemed to work well (was able to pump up probebly 4 feet although a bit slow). It was also able to run dry for a good couple hours multiple times when i forgot to fill up the bucket and still works great.

Maxi jets also work great if you need to pump a little faster or higher.
