Help Me Redue My Filter...

i want to redue my filter because i hate bioballs and hate my setup. only thing is i dont know how i am going to redue it the way it is made. its a amaricle filter. i want to get rid of all the bio balls. i thikn they do nothing and i know some people say there good and all but im done with them. i was thinking about just putting live rock where it is but i dont know yet. if i did should i do just normal size rock like from 1-5 pound peices or break them up the bioball sizes and try that? anyway i drew it all out so you can see and give me some ideas. dont laugh, i drew it in paint within 5 minutes lol.

rock rubble... small pieces in place of the bioballs...put a drilled bulkhead from your fuge to gracity drain to your sump for better flow..so incase u loose syphen ur whole system will overflow

I would plumb the fuge to empty right into the return chamber fuge water getting skimmed and sterilized is kinda bad IMHO.

I would also add a piece of glass or acrylic to raise the bio chamber water level so the rock stays submerged.

well ill knock some rocks up and throw them down there. it cant overflow because i have a aqua lifter on the u tube so when power is out it stops.
