Technically, I think it's asexual as the gametes are from a single parent, but people usually refer to it as going sexual. So it's going sexual through asexual reproduction :tongue1:

Yep... there's a clause that says that taxes will raise to cover the ongoing spawning of macro algae in all reef tanks. In Duke's case, since he's aborting the algae, we'll have to do more research. :tongue1:

Most Caulerpa species at some point went( A )sexual in my FOWLR tanks when i use to have the Grape,Feather,Saw Blade,Disc Shape too many to name in my refuge with 24/7 lighting.I thought this was the norm, i never dosed anything apart from water change.I don't know if low Cal/Alk had any thing to do with it.I now keep C.Prolifera with no problems so far.
