Any Tunze Osmalator users out there?

I've had mine running for a few months and the pump has gotten very noisy. It almost sounds like a buzzer. Anyone else have problems with their pumps?

Rich, i have the same problem. I think my pump weakened from head pressure. It has to pump way up to the top of the tank. I will be replacing it soon. I will actually enquire to see if there's another pump i can use that is a bit stronger.

I am a bit surprised though that your's is making this noise so soon. I've had mine for almost 2 years i think.

The pumps don't last that long...I had one last 6 months....current one is about a year. I have a spare you can replace for me when you get a chance. I'll be around all weekend if you want it.

Ok well this is Rvitkos response on RC. I'll try a vinegar bath but if that doesn't work it seems that there's nothing he will do and they raised the price to $200 for it :sigh1:. For his sake hopefully the vinegar bath works.

he will replace it just send him a PM.......I had mines going on two years with no problem...i don't run mine up to the tank i run it to the sump and use a check on the line
