skimmer advice

hi guys im tryin to upgrade to a better skimmer than the urchin pro i sold. i just passed on a great skimmer , my space is pretty small i have length 8 width 9 .its pretty tight can any one point out a skimmer that is good for my 55g with a future upgrade to a 75g tank. plus i have to tell u i have a quiet one pump 3000 as a return.

ive owned both the 40 and the 60 also owned the vertex in 180. id have to ay the sump buddy 40 would kick the in 180's butt but also use's alot more power, ran a mag 9.5. only reaso i got rid of it was because my tank is next to bedroom door and wife didnt like the noise, not that it was overly loud but enough to bother her. the vertex are built like a tank and skim very well, best bang for the buck in my opinion an dive owned laot fo skimmers over last 5 yr's, the in 100 would handle the 75 as well

I had a similar problem on my 45g cube, space was very limited and I needed a decent skimmer. I went with the Marineland in-sump skimmer 100 and couldn't be happier.

Get the Bubble magus NAC7 cone skimmer . Has a small foot print and is a powerfull skimmer .

I use the etss sump buddie 40 and it works great.. and it has a small foot print too.. never had a problem with it!!! Its a down draft skimmer so it make a little noise like air flow sound..

I got a marineland pro 100 in sump skimmer brand new in the box and it is a kick azz skimmer! I was going to use it on my 55 but got a great deal on a 92 corner and it's only rated for 100 gallons. It's also probably the smallest foot print out there. The BOX is only like 5x3 so it's obviously smaller than that. PM me if you are interested..you could have it today!
