Koralia Evolution vrs The old style

I ordered on line a Koralia 3 they sent a Koralia Evolution 1050 It cost me $32 I was looking for the 3 because I have one in my tank no and like it.

How is the Evolution line do they work better then the old ones. And is the Evolution 1050 just about the same as the Koralia 3 what I read is that the 1050 moves more water then the 3. didnt put it in yet and wanted to get some feed back before I put it in or should I send it back for the 3

I like the new ones much better. Smaller, better flow, and you can use them on a wavemaker.

yes i agree with beerfish. they look a little different, much stronger magnet with a new design, and work great with wave makers. they also dont make that weird snap noise when you plug them in or the wave maker turns them on. i like the evos alot better. if u dont want to spend big money on vortecs then the evos are a cheap relieable and very good powerhead...

AND, they are more energy efficient. Green is always good

I put it in its like it is not on super quiet with nice flow!!!! I guess I got a deal on this one...
