Marineland Heaters

Hey is the Marineland Visi-Therm heater fully submersible and are they the best heaters on the market? I need a heater for my 120g w/40g fuge.

The 'best heater on the market' is impossible to say. All heaters are problematic. VisiTherm IMO is definitely NOT the best though.

IME the Via Aqua Titanium, and Eheim are both much better than the VisiTherm.

sorry for hi jacking the thread but it's a kind of related question.

was wondering what would be a good heater for a mixing tank? i always get cruds on the heater and ended up with unsteady temp. was thinking about trying the via aqua titanium since i don't have to reach in to make adjustments.

I'm a fan of the Via Aqua Titanium. And as you stated, since you can make adjustments without putting your hands in the water, it makes things that much better.

The VisiTherm are just known for their unreliability and failure.
