coralife aqua light pro

i have a coralife aqua light pro that i want to put over my 90 gallon reef tank....it has the 2 250w hqi bulbs and 2 96w power compacts....what i want to know is does anyone know where i can get new electronic 250w ballasts for it ...i dont want to use the big bulky ones that come with it ...and are there ballast that will just clip into the plugs on the light or do i have to hardwire the new ones and do i have to remove the ignitors from the fixture cause the new ballast have them in them already....if anyone can help me out please pm me with any info...thank you...

I have the same setup with no problem what so ever. I just bolt the ballast behind the tank where nobody can see it. I put a piece of blue paper in the backround. If its a brand new power compact, I wouldn't be hardwiring anything, thats just me.

And I agree with Tony.. I have the same set up. The coralife ballasts, although big, work well. I have had no issues with them. It's a solid all around set up.

I had the same fixture on my old 90g and never had a problem with the ballast,I would do what everyone else said and keep the factory ballast.
