Cooking live rock

whats the best way to kill off unwanted pest on the live rock? i have some aiptisa and some unwanted anemone that kinda spread all over the place and i dont want to put that rock in my new setup. Rock has been in tank for about three years. Any input would be great thanks

If you are pulling the rock from the tank, then just give them a quick blast from a propane torch. You will definitely kill the pests, but you wont leave the rock sterile, and it only takes a few minutes to do your rocks.
