yea baking soda has a ph of 12 somehting like that. kris u dont have a ph test kit laying around do ya. that would be a good idea just to check it out.

The probes shot....its doesnt change when I put it into FW straight from the tap then back into my tank .

A good friend of mine has one laying around, lets pray it works

Some PH meter take a few second to update, how long did you dip it in for? Any probe left dried are pretty much useless, make sure the one laying around is not dried.

The moniter just started working. Its jumping around. I went to shower and came back the out put tube was on the floor and the gas was being pumping in like crazy. I don't know what to do......

Turn it off and try again tomorrow. Check all connections and re-read the posts and instructions.

Chris, you should work one problem at the time.

Get your PH controller\meter sorted out first, you don't want to mess up your tank water's PH.

Definately. I'm just going to buy a new pH electrode and the calibration fluids so i know that everything is ok. When I get it I'll be back for some more help. Thanks again Pierce
