Pinpoint Calcium Monitor

I've seen this on ebay Pinpoint Calcium Monitor, anyone have any exprecince with it and is it any good. It goes for $249.

I've seen a # of posts on a couple of different boards and from what I've read it seems to be reallly good, very close to the Salfert CA kit. You need to replace the calcium probe tip every 18?24 months.

I've never seen one but it sounds like an amazing tool please keep us posted with any info you get on it.

So far I've seen some posting on the Boston Reefer board and the reviews where good. The ones on RC have had some problem, mostly with replacement cost of the probe and calibration. It's a new product as it's still being tested. Randy Holmes-Farley, on RC, is going to test one and post his reviews so we should get a good opinion on it. It maybe better to wait sometime before buying one as it's new and may have some bugs.
