Hammer coral issue

OK while doing some rock work moving, my hammer coral slipped, and now one of the heads, is under a rock. I'm scared that the head might die. i tried moving it but cant get a grip wihtout touching all the soft squishy parts.
should i just leave it? try to take it out, what?

You should try and get it out

it'll probably be better to grab it by the head and get it out then deprive it of light. it'll be stressed but it won't die.

or you can irritate it so it'll shrink into it's skeleton and then grab it by the head and move it.
