Copper Butterflyfish and Naso Tang Question

As you might of read, I'm going to upgrade my tank to a 180G... anyways I just want to ask those that are familar or own the copper butterflyfish or naso tang some questions

for copper butterflyfish... according to liveaquaria.com they are listed with caution with reef safe tanks...
I've heard somewhere else that they can be housed in a reef tank and not pick on corals... so i just want to know what are some of their traits in your tank

as for naso tang
i have one myself...
like 6" now in my 75G
When i get my 180G... I ultimately want one that has the streamers which from what i know only the males have...
so how do i tell the one i have now is a male or female
and
is it ok to keep two naso tang in one tank (180G)

I had a copperband butterfly fish before. I think they aren't considered reef safe because their snouts allow them to eat tube worms, feather dusters and the like. I picked one up to deal with a slight aptasia problem. They never touched the aptasias and ate a good part of my tube/feather worms, so I took it out and brought it back. These worms are a part of your filter. Corrected aptasia issue w/ aptasia eating nudibranch/better skimming. As for the nasos. I have a 180 as well, I don't think I'd try to put 2 in there, but I've seen people be successful with smaller tanks. I keep a powder blue and a purple tang in mine (similar, but not the same). They got along fine after some initial aggression. I think you're taking a chance with 2 nasos. This is just my opinion. I have limited experience with copperband butterfly fish and none with nasos.

Your going to probably have problems keeping 2 Naso in a 180gal tank as they get pretty large. If you want to try to keep 2 together get a small one and place him in the tank first. The Naso you have will start to develop the streamers when it get in about 8+".
