Ace Hardware carries 'Pond Netting' that works well for this purpose, be sure to get the type with the smaller holes.
I also believe True Value stores might carry it as well.

Are you familiar with how to build a screen cover?

How can I make one for my bowfront tank?

Take a template and when you go to the acrylic shop they will cut it to the template for a price of course.
