I'll make this short and to the point...

The anemone I purchased from my LFS yesterday did something unusual, well no, down right disgusting: he regurgitated a fish head early this evening. I get in, and go to shut the lights off on my tank. I see the anemone is on his side and he's throwing up this fish head. I turn the lights off and check in on them a few hours later, the fish is now floating and the anemone is in a totally different location and is on his side. Is this normal behavior? Is the anemone dead seeing how it's on it's side? Why would he regurgitate a meal?

There are a few questions that could help. The nem could be expelling the fish head as waste, they do that. Or, it could be rejecting the food because of shock going into a different tank.

What kind of nem?
How does the nem look?
Specifically how does the mouth look?
Is it hanging open or is it closed?
How did you acclimate the nem when you placed it into your tank?
How long has your tank been established?
How big is your tank?
