DIY and systems. I want to compare and see if I can pull off a DIY. If not then I'll head for the systems

Check out Ecoray 60D. THey have some vendors on MR that sells them. They look REALLY nice and if I had the money, I would swap from MH to them... If you want to check them out, just ask the vendors if they have one up and running.

I did see the ecoray.. it looks like a great unit but I would need two of those for my 50 gallon and that would cost me over 500.
So im looking at my options. Thanks!

I have a 50 gallon tank with a center brace so I will need two seperate units to fit each opening. How many LEDs would I need? This tank is only 18" high.
