Hanna phos checker tds meter

I just got a tds meter and Hanna phosphate checker

I tested my tank with the Hanna checker 3 times comming up with o.00 ppm each time

I also tested my tap which I came up with 0.04 ppm

Can this be right?

Tds meter tested my tap 3 times got .95. .96. .96. Ppm 3 seperate tests
Got 0 ppm on 3 tests of my rodi water

Can this be right?

I have some hair alage that is finally starting to die off in the last 2 days
Vodka dosing , running carbon and gfo, and wc every 2 weeks

Anyone have a Hanna checker I think it just came out I trying to figure out weather my readings could be right???

Matt, I have the Hanna phosphate checker too and routinely read 0.00. If you take care of your tank as you do, a reading of 0.00 is not uncommon. Realize though that the error in the reading could be as high as .04.
Your tds scale seems off. Perhaps you mean 95, 96, and 96 ppm? This is reasonable for tap water.

Just suprised with the low phosphate meter cause I've been barreling hair alage but finally it's starting to die off within the last 3 days
