How do clean your filter socks

I was curious as to how you guys clean your filter socks. I currently just throw them in the washing machine and use hot water only. Is it OK to use clorox bleach.:tub:

remember there's also soap powder traces in the washing machine which in return gets on the sock then into the tank which can screw up you skimmer and other stuff i normally take to mines with a garden hose from the hot water line and i'm good to go,
you just turn it inside out and spray it..................

I put mines in the washing machine with to caps of bleach inside out of the white setting then when that's done I do it again just without the bleach never had a problem
