putting led on a tek fixture, need some help

So I have been wanting to add some led to my tek 8x54 4ft light. i was thinking of cutting out one of the middle reflectors adding a heatsink in its place and putting 24(?) cree royal blue with narrow reflectors.

Also cutting three 3" holes on the top of the light to put in 3 fans, two blowing in and one exhaust. i have seen a diy thread where someone did this on their tek and it looked good.

I don'tsee why this wouldn't work, but i know im probably way off.
