VHO ballast

I purchased a used setup with 2-24 inch vho lights 75w each and 2-36 inch vho lights 95w each. total watts =340(4bulbs). I was told I could get a ballast from home depot and I would like to know if anyone is familiar with the hd ballast or any other ballast, because the Icecap is expensive. Thanks

Welcome to MR and I dont think Home Depot sells VHO ballast.

www.hellolights.com has a ballast for $35 dollars, but you need to wire it. Its not hard at all, I have the same one.

Me either. HD sells reg. ballast for NO (normal output). You have to get ballast for VHO(Very High Output). You just follow their diagram, very easy.
