According to other online sources they say that photo is a hoax. Of course no one can confirm since he said he let it go.

Look at this guy holding a 100+ lb giant Siamese carp. If they said that thing was 30lbs and it's similar in size but that one looks bulky it seems a bit suspect, the guy holding it in the water have some trouble propping it up that high...
