Well my 180 gallon fish only is doing great. I have had the take since aug and everything is running smoothly. The only thing that I don't like is the rock I have is not really live and if it is it just looks terrible. The tank is missing some color from corals and rock however everything I have would eat it. I was wondering what people think about decorating with the artificail coral and how it looks. Thanks

I think it looks artificial. They have gotten better at it though. It's a matter of taste. I forget the company but they make the setups that most public aquariums use. You'll know it when you see it, their stuff is ok. Most of the stuff I see is neon. Yuck.

artificail corlas get full of algea ,which means youwill to take it out and clean them off.Algea is not the easest thing to clean off.If you have a fish only ,I would try to use VHO actinic to bring out their color
Also if you post a pic of you tank ,that will help ,Made you don tneed to buy more rock.Just aquascape it better.
If you want artificail I can get you really nice one from Natures Image

Also I would pm Marrone on the board ,Hes great with FOWLR(fish only with live rock)

i used to do fish only -- to clean artificial corals is easy. just have to be careful.

run Hot water in a tub. add bleach. about 3-4 minutes later check it. it should return back to its original color. very easy to do. this is the tricky part. YOU MUST RINSE IT VERY WELL. i ran mine under a shower head for 10minutes with direct flow on it and it worked.
