clam not opening all the way

any ideas why this would happen. he's been like this for 3 days now. all par are good. lighting or placement has not changed. its a real expensive maxima and im a lil nervous

Keep on eye on him, try putting clam in fuge for a day or two to see if it opens

im going to stick him in my smaller tank and keep my fingers crossed.

looks better already? can a maxima clam survive under t-5 light in 16" tall tank? bulbs are 24"

Depends on how many bulbs you have. I've had clams with pc lighting in my collete days.
