Hey all,
So I'm thinking about converting my 65 gallon RSM to a bare bottom tank. The sand is inhabited by probably 25 nassarius snails, a sand sifting star, 2 fighting conches and a few other random critters. I know I'll have to let the starfish and nassarius snails go with the sand, but what about the fighting conches? I know they like to bury in the sand every once in a while...would it be too stressful for them if I kept them in the bare bottom tank?
I'd like to keep them because they're constantly roaming around and eating, but if it's not fair to keep them in a tank with no substrate, I'll let them go.
Thanks!
