Tropic Marin salt, high alk?

Is this salt known for high alk? My friend tested a fresh batch and he came up with 12 dkh! I also saw a post on RC regarding the same issue.

I haven't tested alk in a long time but i've been using TM since day one and when i did test i never had high alk. My friend decided to use half Instant Ocean/ half Oceanic.

What are your thoughts?

Must be a bad batch....TM always had low alk for me. I'll test my current bucket to see what it is.

Hmm, thats what i'm thinking also. Let me know your results. Gotta borrow my friend's test kit also so i can check mine.

I use the reg TM and the cal/alk have been fine, but it's always low in Mg.....and the PRO is just the opposite.
