I just add a Long-spined Urchin to my 24 nano tank I read some things saying they are reef safe. then after bring the little guy home I looked it up more and i read the they are not and they eat anemoes and corals the one i have is black with a blue hue by the body and what i think is a eye which is orange.

can someone tell me how reef safe it is as for i had alot a bubble tips and would to keep the over the Long-spined Urchin if it is not safe also it it no bigger then a small marble..

Welcome to MR, they can be bulldozers and knock big things over. In the sump would be the best place for him I would say.

They should be reefsafe, but they do bulldoze like crazy. I avoid them in tanks because I get a nasty sting from them, and usually an infection in my finger. I would definitely not keep one in a 24. Maybe a tuxedo urchin would be your best bet. I would bring the urchin back.
