What he said. lol. The whole idea as stated to to allow a powerful rush of water to clean off the membrane. The only way to accomplish this is by bypassing the flow restrictor. That restrictor is located on the orange line. Take it out carefully and put it on the side opposite the valve. In the closed position it will operate normally as the water will go trough the resistor. When you open the valve you bypass the restrictor and that allows the water to flush out the membrane.
