Linckia caught in powerhead

Just took it out. If I see necrosis should I cut an arm off? This sucks.

Not sure about the linkia, but I've had a chocolate chip that survived a powerhead experience (in the sump). Seeing as how they can regenerate arms (legs?) I think/hope it will be okay. Depends on how much of it got damaged, I suppose.

Good luck! I would keep an eye on it - see how it progresses. Keep posting with pics if it gets worse.

It's moving about but its tube feet on the two damaged arms are retracted.

update. it climbed up the glass to the top of the tank and 3 already snails followed and are on the arms. doesn't look good.
