Bubbles shooting out mp10

for the past month my mp10 randomly start shooting bubbles.. i take out the wet side and clean it and put it back in but later on or next day it back at it.. it doesnt shoot bubbles all the time--jus once in a while.. any ideas what could be wrong?

My guess is it's placed too high in the tank. It's causing a suction/whirpool at the top of the tank, and the air gets sucked into the wetside of propeller and boom bubbles appear.

thanks for reply but the only thing is that i have had it for over a year with no problem..

+1 Make sure that the wetside has the solid, non-perforated section facing upward.

If i move the other powerheads around it caused this to happen its not just the mp10 its the flow pattern in the tank. I can actually see the whirlpool form and suck in air and my mp10 is atleast 8" under the surface
