MH Bulb Selection

Hi everyone I'm due to replace my bulbs, I have an algae bloom on the sand.

(2)250w MH/Mogul base

My two choices: XM 15k or 20k or Hamilton 14k

I have only used the XM 20k's, not bad but feel like I cant judge accurately because they were used for an unknown period of time by the person I bought the fixture from. If you have expierience with either bulb let me know, I would like a more blue look w/ decent growth. My tank is 22" deep.

More blue than an XM 20K? XM 20K is a very blue MH lamp.

Thanks for replies, Pratt Reef if I go with 20K XM, I wouldn't need actinics?
