This was the second time he did this. He slipped through the top of the overflow box and into it. This time I put a little putty on it and hopefully he will not do it again.

I just feel bad that he goes through me taking the pipe out and him getting flushed (like a toilet) into my sump.

Poor little guy! He is doing great though.

Next month will be 1 year of my tank running. I will be posting pics to show everyone my progress.

Why don't you hot glue a plastic screen over your overflow so he can't get through. I found this plastic gutter guard mesh stuff and it works great for me and it's black too so it blends in well with the overflow. You should try it
