Nano skimmer

Anybody have any luck with the nano skimmer by Current in a 12G nano cube?Does it fit?

I usually do water changes and have about 7 mangroves in my 5 gallon nano at work, which keeps the water nice and clear.

I have 12G NC and there's not much option for 12G NC. If you have hood, you only can put fission skimmer but I heard it's not even worth it. I have a custom hood which I bought it from Ebay, I was able to put AquaC Remora with MJ1200 in the back. It works ok but very loud.

I don't think you need to get a skimmer for 12G if you do water change every week. You'll find plenty of people in nano-reef without skimmer and their tanks are stunning. I got the skimmer because I am going to change my tank to SPS tank. I got 150W MH light and good water flow. I just added skimmer to make better water quality and I am doing water change every week.

I will get a picture of my tank tonight, hopely my digital camera works.

i simply went to death co...took the berilin air lift 60...reduced the size of the skimmer...and i am using it in my nano cube...done done and done.. had to make a hole so the airstone would fit..the only mod i made..
