I got received a ton of coral from overseas. Gonipora, kobo, trachs, xenia, acans, hammer coral, etc. No acros. It has been in a box for at least 24 hours. I have three 400w metal halides and two T-5. Normally, my light is on for 11 hours a day. Should I reduce the hours for a few days and gradually increase it. If so, suggestions on a schedule?

No need to reduce the schedule just because they were in a box for 24 hours..that said..unless you have a very deep tank 400w MH's are on the powerful side.
You may want to place the corals at the bottom and cut your lighting back somewhat.

How many hours a day do you usually run the MH's and how deep is the tank?
We really need that info to answer you more completely :)
