nah, thats way to much. We charge something like 70-100 dollars a visit depending on the size of the tank, and how many ppl are needed. So a 120g needs to be serviced once-twice a month so its not that bad, and she can write it off as a taxable expesnse.

wow hopefully thats not just labor only. if you have have professional service on a 120 gal including no extras on food, sw changes, additives maintenance - everything except the initial setup and electricity - guaranteed in a contract from a aq specialist for less than $100 a month on a fish only i say go for it because stuff like salt and food additives and even fish only type bulbs still really add up if you or your aunt have to be buying it retail periodically anyway.

Wow, thanks for all the input here. I will definately talk to my mom in law tonight. Yes, if this is going to happen, we'll only going to put non-aggressive fish. Is it ok to put couple of tangs in 120G tank? Maybe it's too small? Anyway, some colorful fishes and maybe some soft corals in the future, hate the idea of just rock sitting in the tank.

you could always do both.....
a tv for the wall and nice little nano for the counter.

That's an idea. I saw one 24G Aquapod with 70W MH Sunpod light with stand for $400 from Reef Encounter. Maybe I should tell her to get a big TV and nice nano tank with couple of Nemo next to the TV. Maybe play Finding Nemo on TV, lol.

I probably have to take care the tank but I would love to do that for her. It's just a matter of how much it will cost to setup.

I thought you said you will take care of the maintenance so why are will talking about hiring someone for that. I assume Savager knows what he can do in keeping fish. The only final issue left is the cost of food, addictive....

A nano looks great but still not "powerful" enough to draw all attention to it in a cafe especially if the cafe is big. By the way, how big is your cafe? I did design for many clubs-tiny, small, big, huge, you name them I must have done some work with them. I throw parties in most of the major clubs in NYC and did design work in the parties. Size does matter!
