AI Sol series is awesome.
I don't take offense to reasonable debate and I think you make an excellent point. Just hate to sticker shock new reefers. I really have not kept up on the led pricing if they have become that much more affordable then it's a great option for keeping lipa bills low.
i was going to get the marineland reef LED light but if you guys think something else is a better option i will definitely consider it.

From what I've read about the Marineland Reef LED, they are crap. If you are set on LED's talk to Wingo or def look into the AI Sols you won't be sorry.
That particular light is better suited to a FOWLR tank, not really strong enough for corals.
...and - get a rodi - it is probably the most important and best thing you can do for your tank!
I would go for the Solana XL 60 gallon if you can find one. I think they got discontinued. It's a really nice AIO. I would go with LED's as well. I think one AquaIlluminations Sol would be good for the Solana XL. I have a 12 gallon Fluval Edge with an AquaIlluminations Nano and my wife hasn't flipped out over the electric bill so I guess it hasn't jumped too far. Where in Queens are you? I'd be happy to help you out and answer any questions. I don't have anything to frag out yet but by the time you're ready to add stuff I should be able to give some starter corals.

Chris, Thank you!! you guys on here are so helpful i appreciate it.
lol, don't rush him, I thought in this hobby patience is virtue.
Yea, stocking and cycling wise, but without a tank you can't even begin. LOL
Yes but sometime they faila and you flood your livingroom.
Just use a ATO with a 5-10g tank or bucket to top off the water. This way if anything happens to the tank it will only be 5-10g. BUt it all depends on how bug your tank is, its its a nano i would say only use a 3g bucket....
12g, but your sump isnt going to be full. So i dont think it will be counted as 29g.. More like 15g of actual water.
