idk what's what,but that's a pretty sweet sump to give away if you really did. Juan it's cool trade it if it was given to you,bad reef karma if you sell it. Unless you did work on it.

Why don't you just give it away for free just like I did for you ;)

The beauty of the forum marketplace is that we can get stuff new or used at prices below fair market values because we are a community that looks out for and supports/encourages each other. We're not really here to turn much of a profit off of fellow hobbyists. Maybe we can edit this post and move it to the DBTC forum, just for good measure.

I would even maybe give the original owner first dibs, as he may have expressed an interest in it, should you ever decide you no longer have a use for it.

I dont understand those baffles. How does it work?

* nice cat.

As the designer, I tried to copy one of Trigger systems setups, the largest(tallest) baffle has a row of holes mid way for the water coming from the tank to the refugium area and the top of the baffle has a row of holes in case of a power outtage water can go to the entire sump easier. middle is typical refugium and the return section was extra large because when I was building it I didnt know much about ATO systems so I simply added a gallon or 2 of water whenever the level go to a certian point.

And no I dont want that back. After Juan finally PM'd me last night and from speaking to him in person from his context I got the feeling a public meeting with him will not turn out good for anybody involved so all I ask is to lower that price a bit or trade it or give it away.

It's funny how the mods are allowing all the post that have nothing to do with this guys sale. Doesn't matter how he got the sump or how much he paid, it's still he's to sell or trade. The double standard which is MR lol

So you see nothing wrong with someone taking a freebie that some newbie could have used then selling it?

It's a hobby not unicef lol. With that said I don't necessarily agree that it's the right thing but it is a for sale thread and the mods should not decide when or who they are going to inforce the rules for. I've seen members on here get infractions for joking with a friend and calling them a name, now you how complete strangers bashing this guy. Like I said its a double standard

Your right he can do whatever he wants it's his but to post it on the site that he received this generous gift is a slap in the face to this little community. And to put it in his F/S thread it's showing potential buyers what kind of seller he is that's all
