I usually tell the difference (like in photos) by the tentacles. Mojano tentacles (based on what I've seen in many tanks) are shorter/stubby and they are not as transparent as Aipstasia.

ah and to add... they are a pest that multiplies quite rapidly. So it is best to eradicate immediately.

Man I've had these for almost two years they'll bloom I guess and then die away I just want them gone for good this time. There's probably 20 in my candy cane monipora.

I agree with skene. Mojano you can kill them the same way as you would aptasia.
