Aiptasia?????

I believe its Aiptasia but want to be sure the pics are not the best hope you can see it

I have two of them one on the glass and the other on a rock. I read on the internet that I can't scrape them off beacuse it would just spread them is that true?

if you harm them, they can release spores and have them spread. I would get some aptasia x and hit them before they spread.

There are other things out there that may eat them. Nudibranch, but it will quickly starve and die. Some peppermint shrimp will eat thm.

I bought a peppermint shrimp but he's not doing anything except hiding. Ive had him for 3 days but was thinking of getting another one might have better luck with 2

Thank you thirty 5 im gonna go pick up aiptasia X hopefully that will work. I got them with some Macro algae i got from a fellow reefer, I hate Hitchhikers!

the ones on glass just take a small diameter hose and syphon and scrape with the hose so it becomes detached and sucked in. the ones on the rock you will have a problem with. if its a small enough rock take it out and either boil the rock or crazy glue over the hole. when you see alot they will drive you nuts
