hi MR,
what is this white stringy filament at the tip of this gorg? :scratchch i touched it with a stick & it retracted, but let loose after a few seconds. reef safe? or should i cut this just to be on safe side?

You may want to try to use a different method instead of attaching a PDF file. Even with attaching a photo to MR directly is sometimes hard since the actual image does not show.

Use photobucket to attach the picture. If you are asking for help you need to make it easy for people to help. Having to download a pdf then open it is more than a lot of people will do. But if the image was there you may get more people that are willing to help.

With that being said, I did look at the images but I am not sure what it is.

no, it comes out from the gorg's tip. it's a soft photo gorg. i was searching MR for symbiotic gorgs, but no luck. it does look quite pretty when i feed the tank.
